animal cruelty, educating  children and adults about responsible pet ownership

If you have animals needing homes, the Texarkana Gazette will let you run a FREE ad  for 3 days.

If you have an injured animal and live inside Texarkana, TX or AR city limits call 903-798-3876.
If you have a wildlife animal in need, contact Lori Anderson at 903-838-3040.

This website is updated as adoptions become available or when the foster home has notified us that the animal has been adopted.

The Texarkana Humane Society does not transport animals long distances.

                                                  WINTER PET ADVISORY!   

PLEASE ensure that all outdoor pets have plenty of water and food.  Check the water daily to ensure it is not frozen.  During severe cold temps, put a light bulb inside their house for warmth but be careful not to let the bulb touch hay or bedding.
